Madeleine loves to play, even in the fig tree; it’s a plum job for a born comedian. Playing peek-a-boo with its leaves, now you can see me, now you can’t. SNAP – seen but not caught, shoulda been quicker! The image is imprinted on my cortex, but not in my reflex. Madeleine’s just quick as a wink. Me? Turned into a lil billy goat by this tigress. But the fig tree came to my rescue ; while she was mocking me, its tiny bugs devoured her. Her need to scratch that itch remains, worse than any Graton itching powder ever obtained.
Elle aime jouer, Madeleine, même dans un figuier ; c’est pas pour des prunes qu’elle est comédienne. Avec les grandes feuilles, CLIC CLAC, elle joue à l’obturateur. Tu m’as vue mais pas prise, fallait être plus vif ! Elle s’imprime dans mon cortex mais pas dans mon reflex ; elle me rend chèvre, la tigresse. Le figuier m’a vengé. Tandis qu’elle me narguait, ses insectes l’ont dévorée. Ça la démange encore et c’est pire que du poil à graton.
